“Let those who are taught the Word share all good things with those who teach” (Galatians 6:6). Quite often, couples in ministry become so involved in giving to others that their personal lives are neglected. They miss out on the first part of the biblical principle found in Matthew 10:8, “Freely you have received, freely give.” A Galatians 6:6 Retreat is a time of personal renewal and encouragement for ministry couples…a time to “freely receive” God’s good things for your marriage, family, and ministry. Galatians 6:6 Retreats are 3-day/2-night retreats for pastoral couples in full-time ministry. They are held in various locations in the United States and overseas through strategic partnerships. The retreat, accommodations, meals, and all materials are a gift from these partners. All you have to do is get to a retreat! More than 15,000 ministry couples from around the world have participated in these life-changing, marriage-enriching, ministry-impacting retreats! Upcoming retreats:
- Fall 2023 retreat dates coming soon...

Mental health coaches are unlike licensed mental health care providers in that coaches do not diagnose or offer professional care or treatment for mental health difficulties and disorders. Coaches support any positive change, helping persons who are receiving professional care to manage their symptoms, build support for recovery, and work on life goals such as relationships, work, and education. Mental health coaching is action-oriented with an emphasis on helping someone improve their present life while making goals for future growth and transformation.
Any person wanting to commit to helping those in need by providing exceptional positive reinforcement and listening skills while helping them improve their present life.
This program includes three online courses, consisting of 42 total hours of training. No textbooks needed, all course notes are included. The first course will provide students with an orientation to the field of mental health coaching. Topics covered include the role and scope of mental health coaching within the local church, ethical guidelines and professional standards in coaching, crisis intervention techniques, and the integration of faith and biblical wisdom in coaching. The second course will discuss theories and skills of Christ-centered mental health coaching as well as group coaching. In the third course, students will learn the fundamentals of mental and behavioral health disorders, the causes of mental disorders, as well as addiction problems.
